About Me

Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit website. I really appreciate it!.

My name is Peter. I’m 53 years old, a husband and father. I was born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, I made St Albans my home in 2003.

I’ve had a 30 year career in the sales, marketing and the consumer data industrires. Since 2016, I’ve been a self-employed business consultant.

Now I want to support both businesses and individuals in a new and different way.

I have always enjoyed building relationships with people and helping them. For me, there is something incredibly rewarding and inspiring in supporting someone to make a change in their life. To be given the opportunity to do that is an incredible privilege.

Over the last few years, several clients and friends have asked me about coaching and whether I provide a coaching service. Some even suggested to me that I’d be a good coach. So that’s exactly what I’ve decided to do!

What Is Life Coaching?

“We cannot teach people anything; we can only help them discover it within themselves.” (Galileo Galilei)

If I’m your coach, I work with you to help you achieve insights about yourself, so that you can give yourself the best ‘advice’ you can get, from the person that knows you best – which is you!

I don’t give you advice. I work with you to help you to understand where you are now, where you want to get to and what your options are for taking action and moving forwards.

That’s what coaching is: supporting someone to progress towards whatever they want to be, do or have in their life.

Why Work With Me?

That’s a great question. Choosing the right coach for you is a big deal.

Whether in my personal life or my career, I’ve experienced some major challenges in my life. I think everybody has.

These challenges have included: my father going into a nursing home in 2025; kidney failure in 2021; some unexpected difficulties when my daughter was born; redundancy; leaving jobs where it was easier to walk away than manage conflict.

I believe that life is amazing, but sometimes it can be complicated and challenging. It is navigating these complications and challenges that makes us resilient.

Sharing your goals with someone and asking for their help or support is a brave thing to do. If you’re up for it, I’d love to support you.

What Kinds of People Do I Work With?

I work with individuals from a a diverse range of backgrounds. My clients bring a range of topics and challenges to their sessions.

While all client relationships are conficential, some areas in which I have supported my clients include:

  • preparing for and navigating a return to work after a long period away from work (for example, having one or more children, raising a family, a period of illness)

  • experiencing a forced change in the workplace or career (for example, a change in job role, a change in line management, redundancy)

  • adjusting to changes in circumstances and lifestyle. following an illness, operation or health diagnosis

  • a major change in - or the end of - a significant relationship in your work or personal life
